Hi, I'm Shannon Marshall, founder of EMG Addiction Services and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. Through personal, educational, and clinical experience, I have over two decades of expertise in the field of substance abuse. As a skilled interventionist, my work addresses the acute needs of the addict in crisis, while providing a path of understanding for the people who love them.

In 2014, after years of drug and alcohol abuse, my family was exhausted and clinging to the hope that "I would just get better."  Unfortunately, that's not how recovery works, and they were increasingly desperate for someone to guide them on what to do next. The road we were on was not sustainable, but they were emotionally drained and full of questions.
